St. Britto’s Academy, in association with the SEEK FOUNDATION, organized Young Forum recently. The ignition for Young Forum was the interaction of Honourable (Late) President Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam with its students in 2008. Er. John Yesudas (Youngest Most Successful Entrepreneur Award winner and India Green’s CEO) inaugurated the array of intellectual competitions that included Limerick writing, Sonnet writing, English Recitation, Presentation on New Environmental Cleaning Methods – Swachh Bharat, Tell me why? Relation between Sunspot Cycle and Earthquakes were proved and justified with a working model &PPT presentation.Participants also submitted the ground breaking initiatives that tackle the challenge of Sustainable Living in the form of presentation. Various cultural programmes kept the audience entertained. A special number by the junior choir in an amazing and catchy tune gave a very powerful message that together we can make a massive impact on the world. The Panel Discussion on the topic ‘Women Empowerment’, led by Jaiton, was applauded by the audience. The snippets of Young Forum 2015-2016 highlighted the main events of the previous edition of Young Forum. A special song on medicinal plants was another attraction. Er. Anand Mammen Thomas (Scientist, DRDO), , Er Saranya Jayakumar, (Managing Partner of JCR Group of Companies) and  Mrs. Shahida Hussain (Senior Editor, Orient Blackswan) adjudicated the events. Dr. Anirudh J.R. (Life Line Hospital and one among the youngest members of the Royal College of Surgery, Edinburgh) was the Chief Guest of the Valedictory ceremony. The Principal, Mrs. Mary Vasanthakumari was also present on the occasion.
